This was my first research source for my track which I found while undertaking the guitar composition in my track because I have never played nor composed funk guitar before and this video helped tremendously with not only learning the ground rules and common patterns that funk guitar can take shape in. The rhythm and lead guitar in my track are based on what he demonstrates here. 

While I followed the structure shown in my first source loosely I wanted to find my own chords to utilise for this song which led me to this page. Thanks to these chords I was able to compose a decent funk rhythm guitar riff and it gave me insight into what types of chords and specific shapes are suitable for funk.

This is my first source I used to help the creation of the bassline for my track, although all of it wasn't implemented the octave patterns shown here were.
