Overall I feel that this project went well however it could have been better. I feel as though the strongest point in my project was getting into the studio. Learning how to record acoustic guitar, electric guitar, bass guitar, drums and vocals and documenting it. It's something that I felt just clicked really easily for me. I'd also say my individual secondary research I did for the same things went well. I am also very happy with how the performance turned out. I should've taken more practice videos and done more documenting leading up to the performance however. This project for me personally falls short at the secondary tasks we were given aside from practice, performance, research and lessons preparing for Live Lounge. I think our recordings in the studio sound great and I'm really happy with how all the original mixes sound and I'm relatively happy with my playing technique and tone for the songs, however with only 2 takes each I definitely would prefer another recording just to try and be better. When I was on production team I recording another band in the studio I felt as though the whole setup process went without many issues, it was clear we all understood what we needed to do and how to do it. I'm happy with how my mix for them sounds on top of this. Finally I'd like to repeat that I think this project was a definite success and the most useful skills I learnt during it are definitely the studio skills since coming into this project I had close to no idea how to approach even using the mixing desk nevermind miking up an entire drumkit and getting it to come through in the studio.
